Kristen JonesY'all, On Point Service Company saved the day again! My A/C has been out. It just wasn't cooling. I emailed Tara yesterday afternoon and she sent a technician out this morning! Josh, the technician, was friendly and diagnosed the problem quickly, quoted a price and got right to work! He had to pull the A/C apart, clean it and put it back together and did it in 3 hours! The price I was quoted is what I paid. No extra fees or mystery charges! I will continue to used this local company!
Marie AaronA lot of Temple’s 1990s and early-2000s housing still has original systems running R-22 refrigerant. R-22 is no longer manufactured, which means a refrigerant leak on one of these units is a genuinely expensive repair — and sometimes not the right one. If your system is R-22, we’ll tell you the recharge cost honestly and put it next to the replacement number before you decide. Sometimes the repair still wins; we’ll say so.
Temple has added a lot of new neighborhoods, and we regularly meet three-year-old systems that never cooled the back of the house properly. Builder-grade installs are often undercharged, unbalanced, or have duct runs that were never sealed. If your home is under builder warranty, we’ll tell you so you can claim it; if it’s out of warranty, we’ll fix what the installer didn’t.
Monthly filter changes May through September, a spring coil cleaning and a vinegar rinse of the drain line prevent most of the July calls we get in Temple. A spring tune-up covers all of it plus the refrigerant and electrical checks.
