China Spring grew fast. A lot of the homes off China Spring Road and in the newer subdivisions toward Lake Waco went up in the last ten years, and that shapes what breaks. We’re not chasing 30-year-old units here the way we do in parts of Waco — we’re seeing five- to eight-year-old systems, often builder-grade, that were installed to a budget and have now run four or five Texas summers straight.
That’s good news for you. Most China Spring calls end with a part that costs less than a night in a hotel: a swollen capacitor, a pitted contactor, a float switch on an attic air handler, a dishwasher inlet valve.
